Deze wet is die de opvolger van de Wet op de Ruilverkaveling uit 1924 en de Landinrichtingswet uit 1985. Bij landinrichting laat de overheid zich leiden door de doelen van het Ruimtelijke Ordeningsbeleid in het betreffende gebied. Daarbij kunnen verschillende doelstellingen centraal staan, zoals

  • يُشير مصطلح تطوير الأراضي أو تحسين الأراضي إلى تحويل الأراضي إلى مُنشئات، طرق، ممرات، شبكات الكهرباء والماء الصالح للشرب وصرف المياه وغير ذلك من البنيات التي تتلاءم في مجال استعمال الأراضي سواءً كانت منطقة صناعية أم سكنية. يتم إنشاءها بالأراضي من أجل الرفع من قيمتها وتسهيل الاستفادة على المستثمرين.
