| - Babbar Khalsa (Punjabi: ਬੱਬਰ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ) is een samenwerkingsverband van Sikhorganisaties, die streven naar een onafhankelijke Sikhstaat. Babbar Khalsa is vooral actief in India en Pakistan, maar de organisatie van activiteiten vindt meestal elders plaats – onder andere in Groot-Brittannië en Canada – door de internationale tak van Babbar Khalsa. Babbar Khalsa wordt gezien als terroristische organisatie in Groot-Brittannië, de Europese Unie, Canada en India.
- Babbar Khalsa ist der Name einer der zahlreichen militanten Sikh-Organisationen, die während der 1970er und 1980er Jahre aktiv waren. Sie wurde vor allem durch exilierte sowie indische Sikh-Gruppen unterstützt, die nach einem unabhängigen Sikh-Staat namens Khalistan (Land der Reinen) im indischen und pakistanischen Punjab streben. 1991 spaltete sich die in Kanada unter Talwinder Singh Parmar wirkende Babbar Khalsa vom BKI ab und bildete die Azad Babbar Khalsa (unabhängige Babbar Khalsa). Parmar wurde später während eines Feuergefechtes mit der indischen Polizei am 27. Oktober 2000 getötet.

- Babbar Khalsa (pendjabi : ਬੱਬਰ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ, API : /bəbːəɾ xɑlsɑ/) est une organisation armée nationaliste sikh, créé en 1978. Descendant du et du Akhand Kirtani Jatha, le groupe veut la création d'un état indépendant sikh, le Khalistan. Ce groupe terroriste est notamment responsable d’un attentat à la bombe sur un avion de ligne en 1985, le vol Air India 182, assassinant 329 personnes dont 80 enfants, et d’un second attentat manqué sur un autre avion de ligne, qui tue 2 bagagistes d’un aéroport japonais. Après la répression du début des années 1990, il est difficile de différencier Babbar Khalsa et sa branche extérieure, Babbar Khalsa International qui commet, à partir de 1995, elle aussi des attentats.
