| - Shunsuke Managi is the Distinguished Professor of Technology and Policy & Director of Urban Institute at the Kyushu University, Japan. He has been awarded several national research grants on topics such as urbanization, transportation, energy, climate change, sustainability, and population change. He is a lead author for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), a coordinating lead author for the Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES), a director for Inclusive Wealth Report 2017 (IWR 2017), an editor of Environmental Economic and Policy Studies and on the editorial board for nine journals including Resource and Energy Economics, and is the author of "Technology, Natural Resources and Economic Growth: Improving the Environment for a Greener Future" and editor of "The Routledge Handbook of Environmental Economics in Asia".
