| - %22On the Floor%22 is a song recorded by American recording artist Jennifer Lopez for her seventh studio album, Love? (2011). Featuring American rapper Pitbull, it was released by Island Records on February 8, 2011 as the lead single from the album. %22On the Floor%22 was written by Kinda %22Kee%22 Hamind, AJ Junior, Teddy Sky, Bilal %22The Chef%22 Hajji, Pitbull, Gonzalo Hermosa, Ulises Hermosa, along with the song's producer RedOne. It is an up-tempo dance song with a common time with a tempo of 130 beats per minute. %22On the Floor%22 incorporates elements of electro house and electropop and draws further musical influences from eurodance, Latin music and techno music. Lopez recorded a Spanish-language version of the song titled %22Ven a Bailar%22 (English: %22Come to Dance%22), which includes additional lyrical contributions from Julio Reyes Copello and Jimena Romero.Its development was motivated by Lopez's Latin heritage and pays homage to her career-beginnings as a dancer.
