abstract	Largely inspired by Candlemass' music, While Heaven Wept is an Classic Doom Metal band with clean vocals and heavy-sounding riffing from the USA. The act originally formed in 1989 under the name Dream Wytch by Chris Galvan and Tom Phillips (both on guitars). In 1991, the band name was changed, but it took While Heaven Wept three more years before the release of their %22Into the Wells of Sorrow%22 7%22. While the %22Lovesongs of the Forsaken%22 EP was enjoyed by the fans, it was 1998's %22Sorrow of the Angels%22 that truly launched the band into the infamous Doom Metal realm they are in nowadays. %22Sorrow of the Angels%22 and %22Lovesongs of the Forsaken%22 were eventually both re-released as %22Chapter One: 1989-1999%22 (2002), followed that same year by their most successful full length yet, %22Of Empries Forlorn%22
dbo:abstract	While Heaven Wept (often abbreviated as WHW) is an epic doom metal band based in Dale City, Virginia, USA. The primary writer and overall engine of the band is mainman Tom Phillips. Their melodic, classically influenced style could be compared to bands such as Solitude Aeturnus and Solstice (the latter of which Tom Phillips is a former member); however, 2003's acclaimed Of Empires Forlorn saw the band branching out into a variety of metal and progressive styles. This trend continues on their 2009 album, Vast Oceans Lachrymose, and on their 2011 album, %22Fear of Infinity%22.While Heaven Wept's lyrics have traditionally dealt with sorrowful matters, namely, personal loss and despondency.While Heaven Wept announced on their Facebook page that they are currently planning on a 2014 release in autumn. The album will consist of a single 40 minute epic track.
