We are a socially aware, three piece punk band. Ever since the 90's we have been gigging in and around the UK and Europe, playing squat gigs and pubs mostly. We have been to the USA an Canada three times, and hopefully again at some point. We consider ourselves part of a large world wide network of DIY Punk Rock, we are punks first, musicians second. We feel the social importance of Punk Rock takes priority over the %22marketability%22 of a rehashed trend. We stand by our words and have NEVER stopped liking the music we listen to, live by and make (even when it wasn't popular) Please get in contact, get involved and help the punk scene grow independently of the music industry giants!
dbo:abstract	The Restarts are a street punk band from London, England.The band was formed in 1995 in London with Darragh O'Neill on drums, Kieran Plunkett from Armed and Hammered on bass guitar, and Mik Useless on the guitar. They played many shows in the UK as a trio until Useless left, at which point Alan Campbell joined the band. With Campbell on guitar they recorded their System Error CD, but due to his commitments to the UK Subs he had to leave. Then they found Robin from the Short Bus Window Lickers as their new guitarist. They toured extensively in Europe and US. They have played with bands like Born/Dead, Limp Wrist, The Accüsed, Strychnine, Dr. Know and Monster Squad.
