abstract	Simon Neale (born 20 January 1977), better known by his stage names Shadow Child and Dave Spoon, is a radio DJ and dance music producer. He's also part of the duo Avec alongside Doorly. He was part of the line-up on BBC Radio 1's 'In New DJs We Trust' feature, which runs Thursday night/Friday morning 2am to 4am. The DJ has become notable for his hits, %22Bad Girl (At Night)%22 with Lisa Maffia and %22Baditude%22 with Sam Obernik. Shadow Child made his debut via the mighty Dirtybird early in 2012, mostly thanks to the EP's lead track %22String Thing%22 dominating Eats Everything' and Claude Vonstroke's DJ sets, the World over. This new alias for one of House music's already known names has turned down an exciting path with underground bass-led grooves plus all the quirks and depth you'd expect in the cooler rooms around the globe. Simon has a show on RinseFM 9-11pm every Wednesday evening as Shadow Child. Remixes and DJ dates are filling the diary as a new musical dawn begins.. the Shadow Child is no more a 'side-Project', it's here to stay.
