He is the only living musician to hold the Order of Merit, the highest honour that can be granted by the Jamaican government for achievements in the arts and sciences.Cliff is best known among mainstream audiences for songs such as %22Wonderful World, Beautiful People%22, %22Many Rivers to Cross%22, %22You Can Get It If You Really Want%22, %22The Harder They Come%22, %22Reggae Night%22 and %22Hakuna Matata%22, and his covers of Cat Stevens' %22Wild World%22 and Johnny Nash's %22I Can See Clearly Now%22 from the film Cool Runnings.
