During Warped Tour 2012, it was announced that Cameron had become pregnant and would have to leave the band for the rest of the tour. She was replaced by Courtney LaPlante for the remainder of the tour. However, bassist Mike Martin stated that same summer that Cameron would be permanently replaced by LaPlante after Cameron announced she would not be returning to the band.

They have toured with acts such as August Burns Red, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Dance Gavin Dance, The Human Abstract, Blessthefall, Fact, Sea of Treachery, Enter Shikari, Winds of Plague, All Shall Perish, Vanna, Chelsea Grin and Horse the Band. Iwrestledabearonce are primarily known for their musically diverse sudden dynamic changes, often shifting genres, along with the vocalist's ability to use a combination of clean vocals and death growls.
