(Pancreatic cancer)Edythe was a singer best known for her work with Tommy Dorsey and his orchestra, who she worked with from 1935 to autumn of 1939. She performed one of the earlier recordings of The Lady Is a Tramp in 1937 and wrote columns for Bandstand magazine in 1939. She is said to have had a %22fiery temperament%22 and left the group late in 1939.
