The younger brother of Seals & Crofts member Jim Seals, he first gained fame as %22England Dan%22, one half of the soft rock duo England Dan & John Ford Coley, which charted nine pop singles between 1976 and 1980, including the No. 2 Billboard Hot 100 hit %22I'd Really Love to See You Tonight%22.After the duo disbanded, Seals began a solo career in country music. Throughout the 1980s and into the early 1990s, he released 16 studio albums and charted more than 20 singles on the country charts. Eleven of his singles reached Number One: %22Meet Me in Montana%22 (with Marie Osmond), %22Bop%22 (also a No. 42 pop hit), %22Everything That Glitters (Is Not Gold)%22, %22You Still Move Me%22, %22I Will Be There%22, %22Three Time Loser%22, %22One Friend%22, %22Addicted%22, %22Big Wheels in the Moonlight%22, %22Love on Arrival%22, and %22Good Times%22. Five more of his singles also reached Top Ten on the same chart.
