| - Gareth Daley, better known professionally as Daley (pronounced day-lee), is a British recording artist and songwriter.Daley first became prominent after co-writing and featuring on the Gorillaz hit single Doncamatic, having been spotted by the band's creator Damon Albarn early in his career as an underground artist on the London music scene. The music-media buzz generated saw him promptly signed to Universal Republic Records, where he began working on a debut album. The next two years saw two Top 20 singles in the UK charts - 2012's %22Remember Me%22 featuring Jessie J and 2013's %22Broken%22 - and an unexpected surge of popularity in the US with the Marsha Ambrosius assisted duet %22Alone Together%22 - which after a tentative release, became a runaway Top 5 hit at R&B radio across the country. The song was largely hailed a 'new classic' and held this spot for three months, establishing Daley as an international artist with a substantial overseas fan-base.His debut album 'Days & Nights' was released in February 2014 to critical acclaim, generating another Top 10 R&B radio single %22Look Up%22 produced by Pharrell Williams.Daley's has toured extensively around the US, UK and Europe - headlining venues ranging from London's KOKO, to New York 's Highline Ballroom, to the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles , 930 Club in Washington DC and the Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta, as well as opening for the likes of Jessie J, Miguel, Maxwell, Emeli Sande, Jill Scott and Maverick Sabre.
