About: Six months into the COVID-19 pandemic, effective treatments have been frustratingly sparse. The RECOVERY clinical trial, however, revealed that treatment with dexamethasone, a classic synthetic glucocorticoid, enhanced survival of critically ill patients with COVID-19.
