About: The disease burden of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) in India is estimated to be one of the highest in the world in the near future. Patients with IBD, particularly those on immunosuppressive therapy, are at increased risk for developing vaccine-preventable illnesses. Adult vaccination policy and vaccination in patients with IBD are presently being at a very low level in India.
