| - %22I'm So Young%22 is a song written by William H. %22Prez%22 Tyus, Jr., of Cincinnati, Ohio. While still in high school, Tyus wrote the songs %22I'm So Young%22 and %22Everyday of the Week%22 and gave them to a local African-American vocal group called the D'Italians. Once a recording contract with Checker Records was secured, the group changed its name to the Students, and it was under this name that Tyus's two classic doo-wop songs were recorded.%22I'm So Young%22 has been recorded by Rosie and the Originals, the Del-Vikings, Benjy Ferree and, as %22So Young,%22 by the Ronettes, Antony and the Johnsons, and the Devil Dogs. The Beach Boys have issued two different versions of the song, the most well-known being found on the 1965 album The Beach Boys Today! An alternate arrangement recorded on September 9, 1964 was released as a bonus track in 1990.
