A biodiversity action plan (BAP) is an internationally recognized program addressing threatened species and habitats and is designed to protect and restore biological systems. The original impetus for these plans derives from the 1992 Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). As of 2009, 191 countries have ratified the CBD, but only a fraction of these have developed substantive BAP documents.

  • Un plan de acción sobre biodiversidad (BAP del inglés, Biodiversity action plan) es un programa reconocido internacionalmente que aborda especies y hábitats amenazados y está diseñado para proteger y restaurar los sistemas biológicos. El ímpetu original para estos planes se deriva del Convenio sobre Diversidad Biológica de 1992 (CDB). A partir de 2009, 191 países han ratificado el CDB, pero solo una fracción de ellos ha desarrollado documentos BAP sustantivos. Los elementos principales de un BAP típicamente incluyen:​
  • «План дій в созоло́гії» (Action Plan) — документ, спрямований на зміну поточної ситуації у певній галузі природокористування, покращення стану популяцій рідкісного виду та інших об'єктів охорони і спеціальної уваги. У міжнародних документах такі плани дій називають «Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP)».
  • 生物多樣性行動計畫是一個廣受國際認可的計畫，因應受到威脅的物種和棲息地，旨在保護和恢復生物系統及其多樣性。最初推動這些計畫的努力來自於1992年的生物多樣性公約。至2006年止，共有188個國家批准；但是只有少數參與國發展及編定了具有實際意義的計畫文獻。 生物多樣性行動計畫的主要內容通常包含了： 1. * 編製物種或棲地的生物資訊目錄 2. * 評定該生物在生態系內的保育狀況 3. * 制定保育跟復育目標 4. * 撥款、定時間表跟相關社團合作推行
